January 2009 Meeting Minutes
In Attendance: Joyce Glorioso, President; Diana Davis, Vice President; Suzanne Fitzgerald, Secretary; Chris Gallo; Barbara Shaffner
Items Discussed:
1) National Skate Day is January 17,2009 from 2:00 - 5:00pm. There will be a figure skating demo, a synchro demo, and a hockey demo.
Diana will get 2 sheet cakes, as done last year. Joyce will be out of town. Suzie will come to assist Diana. Table will have display board. Free
raffle for free 30 minute lesson during the public session (same day). USFS giveaways. Coaches willing to donate lessons still to be determined.
2) February Test Session questionable. 2 judges have committed, but need a minimum of three. If there is not a test session in February, there
will be one in March.
3) FFSC account check cards. Joyce received her card, but Diana has not received hers. She will follow-up with Lisa to see if it was received.
Next Meeting: Currently scheduled for February 17, 2009
Meetings generally held on the third Tuesday of each month. Future dates are:
March 17 (St. Patricks Day, do we need to reschedule?)

In attendance:

Old Business:
(1) None
New Business:
(1) Diana wrote a check from the club account for National Figure Skating Month.
(2) We discussed posting photos of non-club members on the website. It was decided that no individual
photos of non-club members would be posted on the Club website. If a non-club member is in a
photo with club members, the photo can be posted on the Club website. Also, we can post photos of
Associate Club members on the Club website
(3) We discussed allowing online registration for club events. It was decided that we will
not pursue the ability to register online at this point since we do not have the capability to
accept online payment as well. This subject may be reconsidered at some point in the future.
Harvest:
A Harvest meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at 6:30.
